Coronavirus Response

The Shield-Ayres Foundation joins our grantees, partners, and community members in working to curb the spread of COVID-19. Foundation staff are working remotely and we have postponed in-person meetings through May 1. (We will reassess that date as conditions change.) Although we are not in the office, we are continuing to work and can be reached by email and phone. If you currently have an LOI pending with the Shield-Ayres Foundation, we are moving forward with our spring 2020 grant process. You can expect to receive a decision from us via email by March 24. We anticipate that the LOI deadline for our fall 2020 grant cycle will remain August 15. Should that change, we will post an update. We do not expect any interruption of scheduled grant payments. Please reach out to staff with questions or concerns by emailing [email protected] or calling 512-467-4021. We are privileged to be a part of a supportive, caring community here in Central Texas. Let’s continue to take good care of each other.
